Hi! What can Silkies eat????
They eat just what any chicken will eat, but if your not real familiar with chickens...just think birds!
They eat fruit, nuts, grains, veggies, just nearly any thing you would eat too. Chips etc. Even meat!!!!!
BUT you want to feed them chicken feed most of all.
A good quality poultry feed, You can feed a thing called start-gro-lay to them all their lives and you can buy "chicken scratch" plus Game Cock, or even Pigeon feed.
It's not WHAT they will eat but what they SHOULD eat.
If you want healthy chickens, laying nice egg s regularly and raising chicks then feed CHICKEN FEED!
Other stuff can be a treat but only as a sometimes special treat!
