Silkies??

I bought 2 silkies a weeks ago there in there own coop and everything they have yet to lay a egg? i put in 2 eggs to try to make them lay eggs and the took them out the nesting box everyevning made a nest and put my 2 eggs in there in the morning they would get off the eggs??? how long till they lay and why do they keep puting kroger eggs in a nest and geting off??

i bought two adult laying silkie hens about a month ago too.
i bought them from a only 15 min drive away. but the entire new area and the moving tends to stress hens.

one of my hens started laying about 2 weeks after i got her. the second is still have trouble laying a bit. she laid one bloody egg about 2.5 weeks in and didn't lay for a bit. now she's laying about 1 or 2 a week and unstable still. they were both good health laying silkies that i bought from another BYC member. you should wait a bit. they seem to get stressed from the move easy so you'll see eggs within the month i'm thinking...
