Colors excepted in the Standard of Perfection are: Black, Blue, White, Buff, Gray, Partridge, Splash and Buff and soon Self Blue.

Bearded self-blue is already APA recognised. Still waiting on ABA. All the other varieties are recognised in both bearded and non-bearded, making a total of 15 varieties.

I am new to the Silkie world. I have 6 that are 3-4 months old.

4 are crowing and 2 unsexed.

My question is:

Will I be able to keep them together as pets? or will the Roosters fight each other?

I know Game Roosters have to be seperated.

Amazingly, I kept my two roos together that grew up together. But when I tried to add to my pen, Mr. Roo said "no, no, you can't stay here, you must go".
