Silkies

I have a black Silky and she has black earlobes. Is that a bad thing and she and my roster have 6 toes?

Black earlobes sound about normal. I think it's nothing to worry about.

Silkies should have turquoise blue earlobes.

Silkies should just have 5 toes each foot.

Silkies should have turquoise earlobes and 5 toes. The sixth toe is a DQ (disqualification). It's a recessive gene that will show up a percentage of the time if both parents carry it.

Silkie standards are 5 toes on each foot with turquoise ear lobes.​

I've never had silkies before, never really been around them much except at state and county fairs, etc., but I've always thought they were kinda hip (my age is showing, I know). Anyway, I have 7 silkie eggs in the incubator so hopefully will have our first silkie hen soon! Is it easy to sex them as chicks, or do you have to wait a while? How do you sex them? I really don't know a lot about them and will be selling most of the babies (will keep 1 pullet if I get one, the rest will be sold/given away).

Yes it is normal for mine at least. Nothings wrong with that.
