Silky been sitting 23 days..????

Not sure what to do....She has been sitting on 4 eggs for 23 days now. Should I continue to wait ??? Or remove the eggs ??? Worried about my Silky. Dont want her to keep sitting till she starves !! Please help ?

Wait until 3 days past the due date- so I'd give it until day 24- and I would wait until day 25 to be safe but that is just me, as if she got off the nest too much that might slow things down. One thing I like to do is to candle them.

Take her off the nest and put her in the yard for exercise. Take the eggs in a basket to a dark location with a very strong flashlight and see what you can see by candling them. Toss any clear eggs (no development). IF there is any development that looks like a dark mass so you can't see through the egg, KEEP those eggs and put them back under the broody. It doesn't matter if you see movement or not.

If you added eggs as you went along, then keep them - use your judgement- to give them time enough to finish. See the below link in post #3 for reference.
