Silky momma

I have three silkies one of them has been sitting on her eggs for two weeks. Recently, the other two have decided to go broody and sit with her. I’m wondering if I should separate her from the other two silkies or just leave them alone to do their own thing. I have four fertile eggs.

Sometimes co brooding works, sometimes it doesn't. I would try to arrange things so that the other hens cannot bother her. Good luck for a successful hatch.

I moved her to a different coop with one of the eggs that I know is not fertile. So far she’s not too happy. We’ll see if she starts sitting. If not, I guess I’ll move her back with the other girls and move them out.
