I have 2 golden sex-links and 2 buff Orpingtons and live in N Michigan.

Welcome to BYC! I'm not too too familiar with the sex links perse but I have a few orpingtons myself.

Thank you for joining us at Backyard chickens. Sex link pullets are very good layers once they start. Buff orps are more average layers but, often go broody, which means they want to sit on eggs and hatch them. Of course they need a rooster to have fertile eggs.
