so we have had our chickens out side for about 4 months now!!! They have not figured out how to go in their coop at night the sleep in their run!!! It’s getting chilly out at night so we turn a light on thinking maybe they would go in at night but no luck! They will go in side the coop in the day time just worried about it getting colder out and how to get them to go In the coop

You'll have to shoo them in or pick them up and place them in. They usually learn after a few nights (although I had one pullet who needed plucking out of a tree every night for about 6 weeks :lol:).

We have been putting them in the coop in the evenings one by one lol (u think they would get sick of the kids and us chasing them) lol and they are still not getting it hummm

I had the same type of problem when I first started. I had them in the coop for a couple of weeks then opened up there door so they could go into there big run would not go out ever. So put them out in the run one by one 25 of them, then they wouldn’t go up the walkway just like yours to go back in coop had to put them back in the coop one by one this got old fast. After a couple days I was watching them try to go out but they were afraid to walk out because they were slipping on the wood. I put some none skid tape on the walkway and that was it. I’m sure if I would have waited eventually they would have figured it out but it was hot and I didn’t want them staying in the coop all day.
