silly hen

I have a wireless temp sensor hanging up on the wall in my coop. I notice the temp early this morning is showing 89 F. but the outside temp is 58 F. I run out in a little bit of a panic to check hoping there wasn't a fire starting or something. One of my silly hens had somehow managed to pull down the sensor, carried it to the other side of the coop and put it into the nesting box and was sitting on it like it was an egg. LOL.

I'm glad it turned out to be funny, not dangerous

I suppose the next step is to attach the sensor so the hen cannot do that again!

I did reattach it where she can't get at it or even see it. I just have no idea what would go thru her mind to do that. The sensor has been there for a while and has been completely ignored, also it is not shaped like an egg. That's one thing I love about having chickens, they are so entertaining!
