Ok, I got a little bid happy and won some eggs that I didn't think that I would. The problem is that I just put eggs in the incubator. I have an automatic turner for my HovaBator, but I am going to have two days where the current eggs are on lock down and the new eggs are still in the turner. My silly question is if I take out some of the trays will the turner still work? I would probably remove all the inside trays and leave the one on each end so the eggs would have room if they hatched. I just didn't want to take the trays out and then it cause the ones still in the turner to not turn. I Googled but couldn't find an answer. I am hatching a clutch of Blue Corral Guinea eggs, and some Green Fire farm line Lemon Orps. I am thinking that they will still turn ok, but I didn't want to assume and kill my eggs at the end.

I guess it depends on your turner, I would assume yes. It seems most are controlled where each row has it's own "arm" and undoing the arm wouldn't effect the other rows.
