Silly question

I have 2 barred rock hens. Rachael and Phoebe.
Whenever Rachael goes in to lay an egg Phoebe goes with her to announce to the world an egg is being laid.
Rachael doesn't do this for Phoebe. The other hens don't do this for each other. Just Phoebe singing for Rachael.
I was always curious as to why she does so. Any ideas?

Some chickens feel the need midwive, I had a chicken who did that.

That makes sense. And here I thought Rachael's eggs were just special. I really had no idea why she does it.
I am enjoying reading about the crazy chicken behaviors. This is the only one my hen(s) do that I find odd.
