Will these make good egg layers and what color will there eggs be. I have chicks that are about 10 weeks old. I plan to have more soon.

Which breed is an RR? I'm thinking but can't come up with anything. Rhode Island Reds?

If I had to guess you'd get a light brown, tan, egg. Production would be good to excellent.

It's really hard to tell with the mixes. I have a turken/brahma mix that has just started laying. The brahmas are considered average layers of brown eggs; the turkens are considered average to above average layers of light brown eggs. So far this girl hasn't missed a day and her eggs are the most beautiful shade of brown, a terra cotta egg.
