I'm starting to have suspicions (due to those this tail feathers) that my Adélaïde might be a boy. Uh ohhhh!!! Still too young to crow or lay, (depending on what she is).

Could you post a photo showing her head and comb? And, how old is she/he? I'm not too concerned about the tail feathers, as even females often have long or slightly pointed tail feathers at this age. The coloring also looks rather pullet-y. However, the wattles seem rather large for a pullet. Age would help.

OK I will try to find a photo to show her head. She is very flighty and shy, so it's been difficult to get close enough for a good pic. I purchased her about a week ago from a feed store. The owners and their employees never seem to know anything about the chickens they receive. I once purchased an Easter Egger from them but they insisted she was a Silkie, I guess so they could charge me more money. Oh well...

She's a pullet but I'm not quite sure about her age.

I'm thinking pullet. I agree her tail isn't "correct' for a Wyandotte, but it just looks hatchery quality and probably pinched, not rooster-ish.
