So the feed store lady knows what she ordered from the hatchery but kept all the chicks together. I specifically wanted Wyandottes but I'm not convinced that is what I have here. Im also thinking I may have a rooster or three. What do you think? Sorry for the jumble of chicks, they really are camera shy!

I have only had chickens for a year. Those with the white faces look a lot like the Black Australorps I recently got. They are very friendly and sweet.

Kinda what I'm thinking. They are 4 weeks old, but I don't see any lacing on their feathers and I think the wyandotte should have more yellow feet. Though I understand australorps are supposed to be awesome layers!

This is the first time I have had Australoprs and they are so sweet. When we hold them up to our faces and talk to them, they cock their heads to one side like a dog. I don't know if they are watching our lips moving or what, but so cute! My 11 yr old daughter pulls up the bottom edge of her shirt like a little hammock, tucks one in there and walks around with it. It hides it head, then pokes it out, hides, etc.
