I am not sure of the exact age of these 2, but I'm guessing about 5 months. One is a little bit lighter (more white). That one hardly has any red in the comb and barely any wattles. The other one has much more read about the head, bigger red wattles and has more black. I am pretty sure the lighter one is a girl, but with the difference between the 2, I don't know if the other one is just closer to laying or if it's a boy.

Their feather shape, legs and everything else look about the same.

Lighter one is on the left in the first picture and on the right in the 2nd. The last picture is the one that is darker with more red.



 
thanks... I was thinking so, but since they are the same age and one definitely has more wattles and is redder, I wasn't sure.
 
They will both get larger, redder combs as they mature. It just happens at different rates for individual birds, just like for humans.
 
I'd say your right at about 5 months old. Here are month by month shots of my SLW :) she is 6 months now.
