I am looking for a very simple, and cheap chicken coop that can fit 3 chickens. They aren't going to be free range, so I will need a big run. I am going to have 3 chickens, maybe ISA brown chickens as I found them for cheap from a seller. I am in Australia, and want to spend preferably under $100. I have found free wood pallets that I can use if it is a good choice to do.

Please help!

If you do go with the pallet idea, try to either make it high enough to get into, or shallow enough to not have to crawl meters in there to clean it. I picked up a couple of silkies from a couple who were moving from a property into a unit. They had a pallet coop that was three pallets deep, but only one pallet high with the opening on an end instead of in the middle. It was quite the sight watching the poor fella crawl in there on this hands and knees in chicken poo to catch the things! It was so awkward and the silkies smelled so bad I doubt he ever cleaned the thing. Glad it was him and not me!

Those silkies are much happier now and instead of running away from humans, they come running to me for treats :)
