Hello everyone!
I just hatched out some barnyard mix chicks and was wondering what is going on with the coloring with this one.
All the chicks are white / yellow except biscuit (one other has a little black on its wings). I wondered if maybe this was a sexlink trait?
Pictures are of parents and the chick in question.
The hen is an EE. Not sure about the Roo.
These are the best pics I have of the parents. Sorry for the low quality.
Thanks for your help!

Partly. When the chick gets older you’ll be able to tel more. Normally the male would be a lot darker but since they are a barnyard mix and that’s the only one sporting the trait, you may have to wait for a few weeks like usual. My cockerels do start out looking like that tho.
