Single chick

My broody hen hatched 2 chicks and 1 didn't survive. The lone chick is now 4 days old and my hen started packing at it and drew blood. I separated the hen and chick but I am concerned about the chick being alone. Any suggestions?

Go to tractor supply and buy a few chicks.

I have the same question. Out of 10 eggs that I set only one was fertile and it hatched. I don't have any other chicks at all and this was is Brahma so I want to keep it. I have another batch (15 eggs) hatching in 11 days so eventually the chick will have a company, but any suggestions what to do meanwhile? I don't want to buy chicks...

I have seen that a stuffed animal helps. Other than that I am not sure.
