Sitting Hen

My hen has been sitting on her eggs for about 2 weeks. It appears everyday she gets up for a little while and walks around the pen area. While she's out, her feahters are fluffed and she is making a low clucking sound. She has water and food in her laying hutch. It has been hot (between 85 - 90 degrees). Is this normal? I don't recall my other hen doing this when she was sitting? Thanks

All of my broodies do that. The fluffing and clucking when on their feet. They even do it while sitting if I walk in to check on them and their eggs. Perfectly normal behavior and she'll get even fluffier and cluckier after the babies hatch, so be prepared for a fight if you want to get near them.
