I cleaned out my coop yesterday and locked up the birds around 8pm last night. It rained all day today so didn't make it out to the coop till close to 7pm. I found 10 eggs in their laying spot. With six hens, is this possible? It obviously is but I've been getting 5 or 6 most days. The temp has been warmer, low 40s, these past few days and I artificially add light.

Similar thing happened when I resumed coop lighting at night after having it off a few nights. Got double yolk from one and 2 eggs from another. One egg was flattened on one side.
