Hi we have a six week old Jersey Giant who has been thriving, up until yesterday. She just kind of stands off by herself and looks kid of all puffed up. I picked her up and usually she squawks but this time just sat in my hands. She has been eating and drinking. . . I just don't know. . Help please!

I am worried about that. we have had them outside on the lawn for a bit. They eat grass but also peck at the dirt. I went out and brought in some sandy gravel for them to eat just awhile ago. She ate some, seems to be eating her chick food and water fine. I gave them some chopped up cucumber, celery, and some mango. I am so scared I done something wrong!

It's an impacted crop, not craw. My little one had it just this past week. I gave her a little olive oil and massaged her right breast area. You can see the impacted crop on the right side of the birdS breast. My 1.5 week old was standing in the corner of the brooder and not moving around. I picked her up and she was in a daze and not peeping. I felt her crop and it was as hard as a rock all the way down her belly.

I hope you figure out what is wrong. If it's not the crop, I dont know what could be wrong.

Well she feels like all the rest, I don't know she seems a bit better. Have to wait and se how she is in the morning.
Thanks for the help.
If anyone thinks of anything else, please let me know.
