Sizes of Eggs/Breeds

Hi everyone!


Can anyone point me in the direction of an egg chart for breeds? I have frizzles, americaunas, self blue old english, barred rock and partridge rock hens, and just this week received my first egg from my americauna Louise. It was not the size that I expected, as she is a large chicken, but a gift none the less. It was a beautiful blue green smaller sized egg.

I was wondering what to expect from the rest of the breeds, what size eggs?

1st eggs are always smaller than they will be later on. I get from med. to lg with my EEs. The rocks also will be a fairly large egg. Go to the inf section and look at the hendersons chicken chart. It will help heaps. Gloria Jean
