Hi,
I've got a two week old flock of 6 hen chicks (salmon favorelle, orpington, EE, and Polish). All of them are thriving well. But, the two Salmon Favorelles--particularly-- have red inflamed skin and I'm not sure if they are responding to too much heat or pecking from another chick. I've seen the Polish one peck but it seems she is pecking at the skin that is red.

Does anyone know if this breed is more sensitive to heat? Or, had an issue like this and what to do? (skin could get infected if it continues). Should I separate the Polish until they can heal? Just looking for some feedback.

Photo is of her neck.

Could it be to hot in the brooder?
I was definitely thinking that but the other chicks don't seem bothered. We've reduced the temperature and they have had plenty of room to get away from the light. Will keep troubleshooting and see if it clears.
