Skinny Welsh Harlequin

I have a male and female pair and the girl has been laying eggs in her nest for about two weeks. She doesn't sit on it much and I usually in the yard eating with her man. But she is losing weight. I know that she has a sore foot and a little swelling in her toe but we just went through the same thing with the male. After 3 weeks of living in the house in a tote, xrays and meds twice a day, he didn't get any better and the vet said to just put him outside. We did and he was better in a week. The girl is eating just fine and walking just fine. I do notice though that she Is walking hunched over and Is being more vocal than usual. Is she going broody?

Sounds like hormones...She is maturing.....
