Skittish hen

I have a blue jersey giant hen that is skittish, well, actually, she acts like I chase her on a daily basis with a hatchet. The other 5 are sweet and come up to me and allow me to touch them, but not this one! Is there anything I can do to convince her I'm not out to kill her?

Before anyone suggests it, I won't cull her. All the chickens here will die of old age here.

Move a chair into the coop and spend a lot of time with them and give them a lot of treats.

I agree with Pico. You will need to be extremely patient and get the bird
to fell cofy with you. Your talking hours of sitting still baiting her with a treat.

If her skittishness is causing your flock to go nuts I suggest you give her away.

I know you don't want to hear it but we cull any skittish chicken because they
tend to make our entire flock skittish and we do not want that.

Thanks, I'll try that. No, she doesn't make the other's act nuts, The rest of them come running when they see me and peck my shoes looking for treats.
