So as many of you know I'm within city limits.

The last 3 nights around midnight we've had that awful skunk smell waft up thru the bedroom window (87 degrees at 1 AM here). There's 4 other coops within 20 houses (guess who takes her chicks out to meet the neighborhood kids), and no prints/tracks in the yard. I poped out the trap, but how far does the stink travel? Maybe 1/2 a mile East is a deserted field and abandoned house, Could the smell come a 1/2 mile? None of the dogs are barking, and they bark for no reason, so I doubt it's in the hedge... but the smell is there again.

Ideas? (You all know I'm not thinking relocation, but fostercare rules prohibit firearms).

Edit: yes I'm sure the smell is not comming from Mr. Saddi, Boyd no trying to ask this one.

I had a problem with skunks living under my summer home. My wife would not go up there as long as the skunks were around.

I put a ton of mothballs under the house. Didn't do any good.

So, I found out that skunks love dog food. I started feeding them. Every day I would move the dish a little farther away. Finally, I was feeding them under a house way down the road.

That is their new home.

And how did your neighbors feel about this?

Wait a minute! ... I wonder if you moved them to the OP's home?

Saddina, mystery solved. Your solution is to have Rufus come get his skunks. The law says if you feed an animal it is yours....

I think you outta trap that skunk, take it to the house that has 8 taco bell dogs, and let it loose in their backyard
