Well, it's a never ending story around here. Had a skunk, got rid of him before he could do anything nasty to the hens. Still setting traps, cuz' I know there must be more. We have a den of foxes somewhere close, can hear them at night. we see the adult fox all the time, cant get a clear shot at it.....and last night she got into my barn and took my nesting frizzle cochin. My fault, hen was not locked up because she decided to nest in the barn in the hay, and I got tired of fighting her. Fox went into the barn, where the llamas couldn't get at it and took my hen.

Sorry to hear you lost your frizzle.

Foxes are nasty little critters.

Only fox I ever saw was when I was around 15 and I was still in Germany. Friend and I seen a dead one.Called the wildlife people and they came and picked it up..It had rabies like so many others that year.. We didnt know it was the worst year of rabies in Germany.
I am still really afraid of those things.

Be very careful with those things. yuck.. I hate those things
