Goodness, I am up before the chickens. I know many of you are suffering terrible heat, but South Dakota has had a pretty cool summer.

Yes it is cloudy this morning and raining a little, but I went down to check on some chicks, and everyone is still roosted up!

We are not suppose to be out of the 70's this week - IN AUGUST.

Its been low in the low 70s during tte day upper 50s at night here. 3 of mine were still roosted at around 6:30.
