slightly cracked egg safe?

Once in a while, because some of my chickens decide to lay ON MY PORCH

, sometimes their eggs are slightly cracked. Not enough for the stuff in the inside to come out. Is it still healthy to eat it?

Should be. We have eated a few cracked ones still taste the same lol

I would say it is safe to eat right away or soon after, I would NOT keep it in the fridge for any amount of time !!! Thats just me, if I get a cracked egg and dont use it right away I give it to the dog with her food (what a nice coat she has, but stinky butt !!) My husband somtimes cracks them in his pocket when he's bring them up to me so the dog gets a few eggs a week
