Sliver Appleyard experts?

I generally do not click on links. As Celtic Oaks suggested, if you hope to raise birds to the standard, then the Standard of Perfection is a useful purchase.

It is a lovely, well-made book, and well worth every penny of the price.

Sorry for the links its the only way I can post any pictures on BYC!

If you upload your pictures within your post, people will be more willing to take the time to reply. I notice all your picture links are to FB; on another forum I frequent, people are getting very anti the whole FB thing and won't look on principle (because not *everyone* has a FB account

Pity, because it would have been lovely to have seen your ducks.

My Drake

Drake and hen

TRIO

Again only almost 6 months old. I can only post pictures in a relpy thread not in my orginal thread..... :)

Thanks for posting the pictures. If te drake was here he would be a cull due to his dark coloring. The one duck is also dark and would end up a cull. We have a number of the darker bodied SA, all are destined for the freezer.

Thanks! I kind of thought the one hen had to much brown, but wasn't sure on the drake at all. They wont be culled :) they will be bred and see their offsrping will be.
