I have 20 8 week old pullets and lately they been pretty lethargic I treated them for cocci and they seemly have done a little better but still acting very weird I picked one of them up and they’re very underweight but had a little water in their crop i’m boiling some eggs for them to try and perk them up should I quit the corid treatments and swap to a vitamin/electrolytes/probiotic mix in their water? They never had bloody stools the only symptom was they were kinda puffy and lethargic. I’ve been treating them the last 3-4 days. Some of them act completely fine while some act weird. I’m stumped.

Can you post some photos of the pullets and their poop?
You mention some act "weird" - can you describe that?
Where are they housed?

Check their crop first thing in the morning before they have had anything to eat/drink - the crop should be flat then. If you are checking crops during the day you may feel food/water in there which is normal.

Yes i’ll take some pictures tonight. They’re still housed in a brooder for now until I can secure the coop. I did check one of there crops she had a little bit of liquids in there but that was really it (this was checked before I went to be bed)I gave them some boiled eggs and they really liked them. Their behavior is sorta like cocci symptoms they’re puffy and lethargic but none of them have passed away or gotten worse so i’m really stumped I plan of cleaning their brooder tonight so i’ll try to get picture soon of them and the poop.

So I couldn’t get any pictures of their poops but I did get pictures of them. They seem to be doing better (at least I think) Maybe there were cold? It was dipping down in the 30s at night but their brooder is draft free with 2 heat lamps. I really don’t know i’ve raised hundreds of chicks and never have any acted like this i’m not sure how long i’ve been putting corid but i’m pretty sure it’s been 4-5 days how long should I treat them for that? I know the red lamp makes things hard to see but my clear bulb broke so I had to use the red lamp for lighting.

I'm not seeing much that stands out except you have a lot of pullets in a small space with heat.
They may be too hot or possibly getting hydrated? How big is the water and food station - with light they are going to be drinking 24/7.

Corid is given for 5-7 days.

They have more room than showed in the pictures they were just freak out and all shoved to one end. The light was only on the take the pictures because without it it would be hard to see. They have a 1 Gallon water and a 7 pound feeder that I check many time to make sure they’re not both full. They’re doing better but before they were really puffy and lethargic.
