Small flock. Have questions. (VA)

Just for some general information for you, Columbian refers to the color pattern of that Elizabethan-looking collar around the hackle feathers. There are Columbian Wyandottes, Columbian Rocks, etc. The breed could be Sussex if white legs or Rock if yellow legs. Sussex with the Columbian color pattern are called Light Sussex.

Welsummers. They're a totally different breed than RIRs - big, gorgeous birds. The females lay a dark, terra-cotta colored egg

I know AussieSharon has beautiful Welsummers - she lives in the Powahtan VA area, so I don't know how far away that is from you...

Ooooo..they sound nice. Powhatan is about 3 hours or so..not that far. I drive all over the country to dog shows so a few hours isn't anything for me. I just find her by name in members? Thanks again!
