It's going to be a mess. I imagine we'll have to declare the source of the chickens for example, so that will dry up. I'd guess that when they die, we'll probably have to pay to get them disposed of rather than burying them.

I'm not looking forward to the whole thing ceasing to be a fun, free, mentally assistive, economical way to help the environment and its inbaitants.

Yup, weve been had over by Defra and the big producers. I can't see them being able to enforce this law.
I've yet to read anything which looks like a "law". The .gov.uk website says "you have to" but there isn't even a citation there. legislation.gov.uk doesn't show me anything useful and even ChatGPT didn't come through for me!
