I have a bunch of ducklings that hatched on may 29th. One egg had a very dark spot but we could see movement. When this egg hatched there was a lot of brown blood in the egg. It looked like a blood vessel had broken and made a nasty blood clot. Ducking was small but seemed ok. It has now been 10 days later and this baby has not grown at all. The others are well over twice its size. It gets tired very easy and sleeps a lot. It does not walk steadily either. The others are outside in a nice warm pen but this one gets trampled and cold very easy. Any idea what is causing it not to grow? Any suggestions or ideas to help it out? It is a Peking duck.

Not sure why its not growing but if you can I'd separate it but put a stuffed animal in their for it. He's gonna need a lot of vitamins and TLC. For vitamins you could add acv to his water or electrolytes. I'd go with an electrolyte and probiotic mixed with his water. Tractor supply will have these. Nutri drench would work also. You can add niacin (plain) to his water also. 100mg or 150mg to a gallon of water. If you have anything on hand I'd use that first. I would try to alternate what you give him. Maybe give him acv one day and electrolytes and probiotics the next, or whatever combination you want. Its up to you and what's readily available as to what you use. What is he eating?
