Small pvc pen?

How much does PVC bend? J want to add a small pen to the chicken coop where I'm going to place 3 week old chicks in but would like then to be able to go out. I not need it to be very tall or wide maybe about 4 ft wide. How big of a PVC pipe should I get? Or do you think that it will be small of span for PVC? This pen will be inside my larger run surrounded by wooden fence and chain link dug into the ground (old dog pen)

It bends fairly easily depending on the length of the piece you're trying to bend. You have to be careful or you'll break the fittings due to the pressure... At least that's what I did.

What about using angels or 4 way joiner in the middle does it work better that way? I was think 5 ft pieces spaced out about 3 to 4 ft? Or to much of an angel. I just need it til the new chixks are around the same size as my 8 week old chicks.

That's what I tried. 5 ft pieces with 4-way crosses in the middle. I broke the crosses because so much pressure from bending the pipe. That's why I ended up squaring mine off.
