Small red dot in egg day 3?

Can you see any veins, along with the small red dot? A small red dot at this point likely means that your chicks are developing and the egg is fertile.

There are no veins yet. Is that normal? They were at a lower temp for about a day , so I'm guessing the development is at about day 2.

At 3 days you probably wouldn't be able to see veins (maybe the beginning of some if you have white eggs and a good eye for candeling). Likely the spot is just a blood spot and won't effect the egg.
