Small umbilical cord hernia question....

It isn't hanging out or anything just looks like a round scab on its belly. Will this eventually just drop off?

What that is, is the yolk that the chick didn't finish absorbing. It should continue to absorb this and go away. You may want to clean it with some saline and put a little neosporin on it. Everything should be fine though.
