It's definitely been a while since I've raised chickens. I forgot how quickly they figure out routine. Everyday the chickens get put to bed a 9pm. This is they're last week in the brooder pen. Starting Monday they get put in coop with the ducks who also get put to bed at 9pm. My fiancee has been putting the babies to bed every day for the past 2 weeks. Today I got to, when I got to the gate, all 5 chickens were already at the gate. Told him about it, he said they've been doing that for a while. They even know which bowl is for food. It's been to long.
