I use stall-dri in my dirt floored coop. I use it about twice a week on the whole coop. I have pine shavings on top of the dirt. I usually lock the chickens out in the run, move all the feeders and waterers, and pour the stall-dri on top of the shavings and then churn it all together. I have some leakage issues (well, most people have leakage issues when it has been as wet as it has been!) in the coop that we are addressing, but in the meantime if water gets in I just use the stall-dri...it seems to work really well...no smells, no water, etc. I got mine at my local coop (it is actually called Sweet PDZ, but it is the same as Stall-Dri).
