Smelly hatcher

Hi guys, I've got a hen sitting on a clutch of eggs. This morning I went to check on them and one looks half hatched but there is a really horrid smell. Is it normal for chicks to smell really badly (heave-worthy) when hatching or is it safe to say the chick had died? Looks fully formed, no movement though that o saw within about 5 minutes

Should not smell. I’d say you have a dead chick or rotten egg that cracked
