Smelly hatching eggs! To incubate or not to incubate?

I received two hatching eggs as requested. They are 8 days old - late parcel -, and smelly but not too bad. Just a noticeable pong. Do I incubate them with my others or will it be endangering the other eggs?

When you say smell, is it a rotten smell or just a dirty egg smell. If it is a rotten smell I would through them out.

I can't think what it was, but it's not there now. Do you think it just sweated from the packaging? Also, the eggs are oval and slim. Will that make a diff to hatch rate?

It can make it harder for them to turn when hatching in eggs like that. But some breeds just lay that type of egg, so maybe that is the case, and they will hatch fine. Well if they smell fine now then I would give it a try. But do check them every so often and make sure they are not oozing and/or smelly.
