I opened my incubator this afternoon to turn the eggs and it smelled funny. It hasn't smelled before. I haven't candled my eggs since Saturday 1/26. Could one of them have died and made it smell? I haven't had any temperature fluctuations or big humidity changes. Humidity's been in the 30's and 40's the whole time. This is only my second set of eggs that I've set to incubate so I'm still really new at this.

Yes, if it stinks, it's dead... if it's not dead... it will be soon and may explode. Carefully dispose of it. If you want, take it outside, crack it open and see what's in it. Smell= bacteria!

Explode is not good, what a mess, (BTDT) you can put the egg into a zip lock bag to open it so ya dont have ta smell it!

Thanks everyone. I took out my smelly one and took it outside and cracked it open. I posted the pictures in the egg autopsy thread.
