when I try to do the smiles it only puts dots or says in words what the smile is. Maybe I am not doing it right. I just clicked on the smile to insert it. The picture says I can't load it because I don't have enough posts. I think I do though

The smiles do that until you actually post. If you preview your post you'll see they're actually working.

Now that you have 10 posts you should be able to post pictures I think.
