smiley faces don't show as faces

Hi, why are my smilies not showing up? Or, rather, they show up as letters and symbols instead of smilie faces.

well, this time it did!! but on my other posts it doesnt! I hate it when the computer makes a liar out of you!!!

LOL Make sure that in the OPTIONS box, the top one, "Never show smilies as icons for this post" is NOT checked
