Smoke and chickens

Our air quality today was horrible. I'm just trying to keep the chickens and US as comfortable as possible!

I know this may sound crazy, but maybe try an air purifier or air ionizer in the coop overnight?? Just an idea, as I have asthma myself and run a small one in our bedroom at night on my night stand. It has helped me tremendously. Maybe it would help everyone's birds too??
