Hello My name is Cynthia and I need to (unfortunately) re-home this silkie roo.

He is very kind and not aggressive at all. My city does not allow roosters unfortunately.

He is 7 months old and I will attach a picture of him.

I want him to go to a good home (he should not be for food). He has a crooked beak and eats drinks just fine.

Finally, all I can say is that I am very sad to see him go, but I just can't keep him as he sings.
I am located in Frederick Colorado.

Reading posts here I figured that it would be difficult to re-home him.

I think I will keep him; we will take the responsibility of having a roo.

I wish I werent across the country--- Id love to have him here...I have 30+ acres and love hearing the boys singing..(mine do it around the clock..lol) But shipping live birds terrify me :( I am happy to hear that you are gonna keep him regardless.. I work in horse rescue and see the opposite way too much :(
 
Yea I am keeping him. Neighbours don't seem to mind. I can't just kill him off or give him back to the breeder. The breeder gave him to me knowing his beak condition; the breeder did not even give me a heads up on that. It seemed to me that she wanted him out so he won't go back there.

He is so docile my female Silkies pick on him. He is the best chicken I have.

In the future I am moving from the city and getting something else so that I can have as many chickens and rooster as I want :)

♡♡ I dealt with an awful breeder a couple of years ago :( Very grateful to have found some that are amazing .. glad he's home and that you have good neighbors :)

He is a keeper for sure. Yea not gonna give him back; he would be made into stew. I also found a good breeder near me a good Silkie breeder. I hope things go well and no one gives us a complaint because of him.
