snacks

I went out to feed my chickens some snacks and they come running out of there little house. crystal was the first. (she is on my avatar.) she is the bottom of the pecking order. she grabbed a piece of snacks and hid so the others would not peck her or take the snack.

I am fealing sorry for her the others hardly let her eat. should i be worried?

My Lilith is now firmly at the bottom of the pecking order. When I go out to give them all scratch or other treats the others chase her away.
What I do now is to save back a little of the treat, whatever it is, and then carry Lilith to the house yard where she can eat her snack in peace. Also, I'm a big believer in always having two feeders, even if the second one is a small homemade one. This way the lowest ranking member(s) can get their fill too.
