Snake attack

Hi all I have a story about one of my favorite girls, I had only had them for a few weeks when I found that a snake had gotten into my coop and had eaten one of my new chickens that had been given to me by a friend and actualy attacked another and ripped open all her chest, everyone kept telling me that I should put her down as she was not going to make it but I did not give up I gave her lots of attention kept her clean and made sure she got food and water and after now a few months down the track she's one of my best layers.

The moral never give up!!!!!!!

Good for you! I'm tenacious like that too. I had a duck that got attacked by a neighbor dog. Vet said I should put her down. I didn't. I kept her in the house and gave her epsom salt baths and antibiotics. She made it, too!
