Anyone ever seen this before? Could it be a snake bite? Doesn't seem painful, is eating, drinking and acting normal

Could you post another picture of two of her head in a normal position? Several things can cause swelling of the face and wattles, including tick bites or insect stings, and certain diseases such as fowl cholera and coryza. I suppose a snake bite might do that, but I would think the chicken would have more swelling around the neck and be having breathing problems. If she is alert, eating and drinking, and acting normally, I would just watch it. You could also give her 1/2 of a children's Benadryl orally, or crushed into some egg or yogurt. Just do that once, and see if the swelling has gone done some by tomorrow. Let us know how she is doing.

That looks awful! It looks like an infection that may have stemmed from an injury or insect bite. Does it feel solid, like a tumor, or like it may be full of pus?

No puss, actually. It's my daughters rooster, a little banty. It doesn't feel hard or solid, she has tried to squeeze it to see if anything comes out but nothing. She is going to try benadryl and see if thar helps

Is the blackness near his nostril just mud? Sorry for asking silly questions, I couldn't really tell in the picture and I'd like to explore every option.

I would probably try to see a vet if possible. I can't tell what that is, but it probably need some antibiotics. You could start some sulfadimethoxine or sulmet from the feed store in case of fowl cholera or coryza. For a wound abscess, procaine penicillin G may work, but I would do some warm compresses, and lance it to try to express what is inside.
