Nice little snakes. Frequently accused of being "copperheads" and whomped to death by big strong brave manly shriekers who I believe secretly wear pink panties under their turnout gear.

I've rescued many of them from cops and firefighters who walk with me on SAR tasks and are afeared of all the creepy crawlies in the woods, but even more afeared of admitting this deficiency to a girl who emphatically isn't.

how many eggs can they eat? our barn occasionally gets snakes and I'd prefer to keep them around, if they're not goingto make a huge difference to production.

Awesome job saving the snakes though. I just saved a Gopher Snake from being chopped to bits at my mom's work on Tuesday.
